I’m hoping you have successful surgery and a rapid recovery. Waiting is hard but once it is over you should end up better than ever.

Thanks Carol..it will be nice when it's fixed so I can lay on my right side in bed again...I can't lay on my left due to my cervical spine injuries...

Hi Guys,
I haven't been on the Hog for a while, we just got home from an OS holiday.
Then to top it off, tomorrow (Tuesday 5th) I go in to hospital for another operation.
Another shoulder reconstruction this time. Had my left one done nearly 5 years ago and now my right needs a fix. Four separate things the surgeon has to do he informed me including a tendon that's completely broken in halves.
I remember last time so I'm not looking forward to it. I'm hoping I can lift/hold my camera but have my doubts. Might have to get Lorraine to help me set up my tripod and gimbal so I can sit on the patio and at least take a few shots.
So if you don't see me for a while, this is why.
Keep posting the good shots you all do, at least I can sit on my PC and enjoy them even if I can't shoot any myself...
Cheers,
Ron.

Sounds like you've had a rough time, Ron. Sorry to hear about that. I'm still recovering from a tendon repair. Achilles tendon on left ankle. The Doc had to take a tendon from my big toe to splice into the Achilles. Had to learn how to walk again. It wasn't any fun and neither was the physical therapy but I see it as a good investment toward good physical health in the future. Hang in there. There will be bad days but soon the good ones will out number the bad ones. Sending good thoughts your way.

Mechanically I'm in pretty good shape, probably as good as it's going to get. Getting the strength back and balanced is the thing now. I'm finished with the physical therapy so on my own but all is well. Just have to keep going to the gym and building up strength. Slow but sure.
Still thinking good thoughts for you. Good luck, hard work and success! Please let me know how it works out.
