Volunteer Sunflower

Here is a volunteer sunflower, an ancestor from bird feed seed. It is a single plant about ten feet tall. Nature is beautiful. Post your volunteer plants. ;)

I'll try to dig up some of mine, but they won't hold a candle to that! What a beauty!

Thank you. I still would like to see other volunteer plant photos. By the way, the marigolds and asylum are also volunteers (but transplanted).

OK, here's one of our volunteers. It's the clump of green on the far left side of the photo...the plant with the purple button-shaped little flowers. It's called Brazilian Button Flower and the butterflies and bees love it.
