Something for those blustery days.
Hi All Here is another idea for those days when it is too ugly to shoot outside and one has got a nervous finger on the shutter button and is yearning to creatively bloom. Here is a possibility, take a small handful of typing pager and a pair of sissors and emote. Here is a couple of what I have done. It is real fun when you chuck the I CAN'T SYNDROME.

Good looking work, and a good idea, just for the joy of visual delight, and perhaps for working on composition skills.
Great idea and very creative. I think the two shots are captivating.

I really like the shapes and tones of #1. Shows again that you can create an outstanding monochrome image without having a "knock your socks off" dramatic tonal range....

Nice work, Russ;
#1, I.M.O., is an effectively composed tyone poem!

Thank you Dave you are apparently a romantic, and the world loves a romantic.
It is a really good idea and I like what you have done here. I did something similar a few years ago. I would post it, but I'm not at my regular computer where that image is stored. In it I used construction paper to form a cone. At the end, where the cone was open, I had pasted a mountain scene. Inside the cone I pasted a photo of my wife and a friend hiking. The end result of the composite looked like they were hiking up the cone to the mountain scene. All done indoors on days when I did not want to venture out. Thanks for reminding us of the possibilities. (found a copy of the photo I was talking about)
