I bought a Sony a6000 mirrorless with an E mount. I would like to use my Canon 70-200mm and my 24-70 (both f2.8) lenses - preferably full auto. What are the choices for adaptors?
Check You Tube videos. The least expensive manual adapter would be Fotodiox. Electronic versions will cost more.

What a
helpful suggestion, dick!
You really don’t think John Whited thought of that? If he were asking for the definition of some word, I'd be in line with you to give such a response, but come on! Or is it that you thought you were making a little joke?
People asking questions without making any attempt to find it for themselves is why LMGTFY was invented.

If you don't like this response, google something and paste in your google results ...

This review used the Sony A9. But the o.p. is using the A6000. The A6000 has the least capable focus capability of all the e-mount cameras. Need to find a review for that Metabones adapter that tries it with the A6000.

There's always the Metabones website for other model offerings and personal initiative with google ...

I use the Metabones V with my a6000 & a6300 with spotty results. Sometimes it amazes me but many times it hunts frustratingly for long periods. I experimented a bit with a variety of EF lenses including 300 f/4 L but haven't found success that I could repeat convincingly. So, I use them (I have 2 for myself and daughter) almost exclusively for manual focus macro with very good results.
I noticed that with manual "focus by wire" EF lenses there is trouble focusing. The focusing motor/circuit freezes, not moving the focus point with barrel rotation. Have to switch to AF for some help, then back to MF sometimes will get response back. happens with all "FBW" lenses. Photography involving a mixture of manufacturers lenses presents a challenge.
Some say the Sigma MC11 works OK......?!
