The 30,000 or so gun laws we already have? We don't need more gun laws, we need societal change. In the last 75 years the nation has moved more and more to the left and gun crimes have gone up along with it. Leftism is what needs more control, not guns. And Medicare can't cover everyone, especially when the l*****ts who need to be controlled demand providing it to many many millions of i*****l a***ns who shouldn't receive any benefits or assistance of any sort.

Obviously your gun laws suck, big time. Get the assault weapons out of everyone's hands and watch your stats go down, significantly. Don't you people get it? Ask your law enforcement if they welcome the removal of these rifles that are the choice of the mass shooters. See what they think, not what the NRA rules.

That is the part that you don't get, you would have to suspend constitutional protections regarding rights to privacy and search and seizure and then turn the inner cities into war zones similar to those of Iraq at the height of the fighting there. What the left does not want to talk about is that our murder rates would be similar to those of Europe were you to exclude the stats coming from the inner cities.

Your proposal just does not work in the US, we are different, 300,000,000 guns and 320,000,000 people.
