I just completed a trip north from Florida to see some fall leaves. The leaf display was not the best but this falls put on a pretty good show all the same. It was a scene I didn't want to leave. Thanks for looking.
Nikon D810 with24-70mm lens ISO 64, aperture f18, shutter 1/4 second, with a polarizer It was the polarizer that really made the difference.

Really nice capture Larry... I camp down the road at Davidson River all the time. Looking glass is a great place to try out different things.

I know the place you mentioned. This is a nice roadside location. I was there on a week day and the place was quite crowded---but no one was in the water ( :-). It was early and cloudy, no direct sun, so perfect for photos. Although one lady with a tripod told me not to bother shooting because there was no sun and she would return when the sun came out. I thought the clouds made for perfect waterfall shooting.
Thanks for looking.
Beautiful shot of a secluded spot!
