I am an avid photographer. On December 31, 2010 my friend and I finished a year long photo essay of the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Tuscarawas, Stark, Summit, and Cuyahoga counties in Ohio.
We ended up with over 80,000 images between both of us. We went out almost everyday for a year and spent anywhere from 15 minutes to 12 hours on the trail photographing.
I have a questions about a Compact Flash and .dist files I am seeing all of a sudden - which worries me as the card does seem to be acting correctly. Any takers?

U might be on the verge of wearing out that card.....do U rotate the cards u use? I change cards every so often to give the card a rest.also do U format the card every time u use it....it's a good idea. I've had a card go bad on me and it's not a good feeling.....had some great shots on that card...lost for good....even retrival soft ware didn't help
