Beautiful pics. The 2nd one is nearly identical to one I took.

Very nice. I like #2 best. Are you allowed to go inside? (No barrier)

Yes you can go inside and actually watch them grind the meal and also purchase what you watched being ground.

Really nice captures grandpaw. I love old buildings, would love to see more. Post more when you can. Thanks

The second shot I posted was actually the first photo I took and when I spotted the extra old grinding wheels I just wanted to include them is a image of the mill.

Really like 2nd photo. I shot one similar (we were a week apart I think), but waiting for no people in the shot was torture!

I lucked up and only had to wait about a minute for a clean shot without people. I really planned on skipping going to Cades Cove because I figured it would be a nightmare with the traffic looking at the fall colors. To my surprise we had about the easiest visit we have ever had this past Friday. I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, second one is nice. I wish I took that shot when I was there. That drive bored me to death. There is no way to get out of that place quickly. It is just like the road I like on in wv. Except the mill. Lol
