A mother has four sons: North, South, and West. What is the name of the fourth son.
Good one!
Don’t want to spoil it for others so I’ll keep the answer to myself👍

Someone.
I believe the original was "Someone's mother has four sons....."

I think the clue must be at the end of the sentence!

Who's on first and I don't know who's on third.

Notice there is no question mark after the last 'statement'.

For years I had a cat named "What." So when someone asked me "What's the cat's name," I always answered "Yes."
Actually, it goes like this: "Someone's mom has 4 sons, North, West,South. What is the name of the fourth son. So, it is given in the first line of the sentence that SOMEONE'S mom has 4 sons. The names of three sons are given as North, West and South. So, the name of the fourth son will be "someone".
Second sentence states the 4th son's name, no ? at the end!
