Kingfishers! I consider them to be scoundrels. Never cooperative and always seem to be laughing at me when I try to catch them with a camera. Therefore any reasonable image of one I consider a success.

Nice job with the kingfishers. I was just doing battle with them this morning trying to get some good BIF detail, but failed. They are quirky!

Yes they are, they are my wife's favorite bird. I'm trying to get a good enough portrait to have a print made for her...still trying. Thank you.

I think NALU summed it up nicely , saying "any reasonable image of a kingfisher is a success". Yours are better than I have been able to get shooting through patio sliders and pool cage screen to avoid scaring them away. Thank you for posting them. They are one of my favorite birds.
