Olympus workspace issue: update

Earlier I posted an issue with Olympus Workspace. https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-614065-1.html
Thanks to those who tried to help.

The problem concerned moving RAW files to a new larger disk. The RAW edits are lost when the files are are moved to the new drive. Both the new an old drive have identical directory trees and are assigned the same drive letter. Obviously only one drive is connected at a time. Both drives are USB external drives.

At first I tried using windows File Explorer to copy and paste to the new drive. Olympus Workspace did not recall the RAW edits previously made and recognized when the original drive is used.

At the suggestion of a UHH user I renamed the drives to be the same as the original. This is does not restore recognition of the RAW edits on the new drive.

My last step was use cloning software to clone the old drive onto the new drive. As the drives are different sizes I did not use use sector by sector cloning. Again, the RAW edits are not recognized.

Since my first post, I have upgraded to version 1.2. The upgrade is of no help. I also contacted Olympus. The are cordial but unaware of the problem and unable to provide an explanation of the issue.

While Workspace is very useful in taking advantage of the unique capabilities of my PEN F in post, The present issue is a significant challenge to those who upgrade their drives or computer systems.

Obviously any insights and comments -even commiseration- are welcome.
