Image was made a while back while on a guided tour of Navajo Monument Valley. If you go to visit I highly recommend driving to the hotel and hiring one of the Navajos to drive you for the tour, which is the best way to explore and photograph this amazing area. Best time is late afternoon.

Outstanding image !! Brings back memories for sure. I see now that I should climbed up higher for that different perspective when we were there. Your suggestion for hiring a guide for the “back country” is right on.

That's beautiful, and in the DL the colours really pop. When were you there? Every time I've tried to go, it was closed
