Changing firmware with tamron Tap in Console...Problem

I have two Tamron 100-400 lenses . Originally the V2 firmware was not available so I set them up using the tap in console. Fine no problem. When I upgraded to the version 2 firmware all the settings changed. Even using the auto FFA on the D850 its quite time consuming getting all 16 figures.
Now they have V3 . Has anyone changed to this and did you have to re do all your offsets?

I notice the firmware upgrades resets all settings to default. You have an option to save your settings to a file and restoring them from that file after the upgrade without having to redo the adjustments.

Perhaps I did not explain carefully enough. When you reset V1 to V2 all the setting numbers change so you have to re test all 16 . I am wondering if this happens when you go to V3. I know V3 works with the lens adaptor for the Z series and I assume it still works with the F mount. Anyone got any information.
