The actual editing technique is a little different from Remask5 and there are a few extra clicks that I would like to see eliminated needed to move around and an option or two missing eg. color picker. The finished mask is as good as one from Remask5 and in time will be easier to create.

How does it do with fly away hair against a like colored background?

I have not run extensive tests with all situations; I would suggest you read what Topaz has to say and show in its ads. I think I saw that situation covered. BTW Remask5 also has videos covering that situation.

I think all masking programs will struggle with that type of scenario ( no contrast )

Just as most masking programs will do well with all the contrast around the fiddle player above.

Have a certain image in mind ?

Just an FYI; I chose the fiddler because I have used him in one of my favorite composites. This mask was done with Remask 5.

The demo at the photo seminar attended was a slam dunk. May resolve with use but now the fly away hair is just not that great.

Here is a video that should answer your question; yes, it deals with Remask5 and if the Mask AI is an improvement ... terrific!

I have seen all the videos. Their experts make complicated masking look easy. It’s not!

I have many images of my daughter and grandkids who have vey curly hair. I have seen all the old remask videos. Removing the background is not as easy as they make it look.
