Free Sunday folks. Come on by and share any of you favorites, or leftovers with us. We’re not here to judge necessarily, but to enjoy what you enjoy. And, if you learned some new trick in your photo journey you think we would enjoy, please share that with us as well.
We had a visitor from Omaha earlier this month so had to go down to the new Pearl District for lunch. Dee and Shirley were sorority sisters in college. I snapped a few candid’s while waiting to be served. Of course I was along as chauffer and purser. Naturally the candids were pretty uncomplimentary, and you know how difficult it is to throw away your images. Photophile’s challenge was the perfect place to work with the images to see if I could help them out any. You’ll have to be the judge. I think that they are less uncomplimentary at least. (and no I can't show you the originals
)

Drying up. It is that time of year. Taken with a Nikon D800 and Nikon 105 Micro Nikkor
Aperture-priority AE, 1/500 sec F 21, ISO 1600
I took this shot of Lydia and her puppy the other day - it's an extreme cropping of the original but it held up rather well to it.
