Perhaps more recognisable (than my last post) as mine, we're back to the dark side. Very simple two shot composite. I can't say how many layers as I flattened and discarded but I doubt more than a dozen. I didn't think much of it but the guy saw it, wanted it, and is using it for his media photos. Your thoughts appreciated. I've reduced the size of this in the hope it will show a thumbnail......hooray! And thanks to RG for the guidance. The secret is keeping them to around 2.2MB.

Thrusts itself into space and our well-worked color. Fine work!

I think this is exactly what a Steam Punk should look like. Mans posture and accessories are perfect. đź‘Ť
Color is personal taste, I would like the temperature minus about 26 points. This would reduce the strong yellow cast and give it a more industrial look.

Ah, that’s me and my split toning - a bit ott perhaps. This guy certainly makes the effort. Thanks for your comments Jim.

Wow, magnetoman, this is right in one's face. Very compelling. I am learning PS and am anxious to achieve this level of competence to be able to do what you have done in my own way. Thanks so much.

This is just a simple selection dropped onto the background layer, nothing fussy because the dark will hide the misdemeanours! I guess there are two or three adjustment layers for colour, saturation and contrast, and the final split toning was done in Lightroom, but it can be done in Ps. Do have a look at the two websites I mention, they are both extremely helpful. Enjoy the journey and post some results to show us how you’re getting on. Many thanks for your comments, much appreciated.

Great shot!

(The one who judged "elle" will stutter for a while on this one! His loss.)
