2 Years Ago... Denali
Nice, sharp image, Jim!!!
Do you know the name of this smaller peak? Denali is much larger.
Amazing, that you were able to take this quality picture through the plane window.
Great shot, especially knowing your condition at the time. I once got air-sick on a float plane flying through the fjords along the Alaskan coast.
Colorado's Mt Princeton has an elevation of 14,129 feet. I climbed Princeton with 5 of my cousins in Colorado in July of 1996, I did not get to the summit, but I got within 700 feet of having done that,
and my cousins told me that had I sat down for an hour to rest myself I could have gone all the way
to the top. The air at such an elevation is a little thin, which added to the difficulty I faced during the
climb up Mt. Princeton's slope.

you were unpressurized at 12,000 ft? What about the pilot? Certainly, he was on oxygen at the very least, right?
Private pilots need O2 above 12,500 ft.
Nice image. Not Denali, though.
Beautiful capture of the mountain. I understand at 12K feet you could be light headed. Thanks for sharing.
Great work! You must have something like a 20X30 print hanging on a wall.

FWIW, here is one I was lucky to get in 2013 of Denali. Other times clouds a problem.
Won honorable mention at State Fair.
