When I saw your butters a'flutter, oh mudder!
I hoped and i hoped you would show us anudder!
But then nothing could top your beautiful shot of that palamedes swallowtail on the southern pine lily, donna. You did it up right pretty!

I got anudder and anudder...
But don't want to overdo and make folks shudder!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this butter, Merry, and your wonderful comments never fail to make my day!

Fantastic, Donna, and also true for all of your previous work that I had not viewed back through March of this year!! I have hardly been online this summer and have many sites that I need to view. Also, so sorry to hear about Earl's problems and hope he is much better by now. Take care and always admired your work, and think it's now even more beautiful.

What a fine thing it is to catch two beautiful subjects in the same frame and make them work together like this! This if beautiful Donna. The pitcher plant bog gods have smiled on you again!

Corky, thank you so much for your always very generous comments! I've been worried about you guys and hoping that you were simply enjoying a wonderful summer. You were certainly missed and so very glad you're back...and I hope all is well. Wish Earl's friend, Dennis, would let me know how Earl's treatment is coming along, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to pester him a bit to find out. Hate to bother him..he's such a nice fellow.

I was lucky on this one, Phil. A beautiful butterfly just happened to visit the lily I was focused on. So glad you enjoyed the shot, Phil, and I'm always so very grateful for your wonderful comments and encouragement.

Thanks, Donna, and it seems like summer passed by very fast and we did stay fairly busy as we always plant too many potted plants and hanging baskets and it was such a hot and dry season that we spent many hours watering and tending them. I did have a medical scare and spent quite some time having tests run but at last, everything seems to be ok, but now I will try to be more punctual in scheduling my yearly medical checkups after surviving a prostate scare. We also lost our dear niece which was only 57 and also two of our neighbors and best friends, along with hogg pals Gregory45 and Phil (photosmoke) so summer just wasn't the same! Hope that you guys had a great summer and please take care!! Corky and Ellen.

Corky and Ellen, it sounds like you've had anything but a good summer, but I can't tell you how glad I am that you're back with us. Sending you a PM.
