Some Critters in the Fort Bragg area

While visiting Fort Bragg for a few days I took a number of shots for critters while hiking and canoeing. The first 3 shots where taken with a 500mm lens by the mouth of Noyo river where it meets the ocean on a hazy day. The last 4 shots where taken on a canoe trip up the Big river near Mendocino (unfortunately I didn't bring a telephoto with me and was limited to 70mm shots on this outing).

Interesting collection.

I had to check to verify which Fort Bragg when I first opened the post. The Noyo and the species were my first clue as to which one you were near when you took them.

Very nice Raven.
Especially if downloaded and zoomes in. Great face detail

I had the same problem. Had a bit of a shock when I looked and saw seals instead of paratroopers.

Ft Bragg to me means North Carolina.

The seagulls do act like dive bombers at times.

Both the Raven and the Seagull came out with good detail when zoomed in.

Thought this had to be California. They're a lot tamer than the critters i saw at Fort Bragg NC 52 years ago. Airborne!
