Thanks Bob for your thoughts. As to tech of the three you mention, I have Fractalius and it is used only a small bit. I find their presets near silly or useless so I have used the controls and designed about 6 totally different from within the program. I use about 20% in a bottom layer and erased through to my taste, this one I may have erased a bit too much as it is normally not noticeable. Sort of an extra effect beyond what is in the program. 3 or 4 layers if I remember correctly. Thanks RBorud
