I spent an afternoon at Theodore Roosevelt NP last summer and was driving around the loop road when a huge thunderstorm hit. I decided to pull over and wait it out hoping for some good light after it blew through. My patience payed off when I got this shot of three wild horses back illuminated by the late day sun. I was using a D5600 with a AF-P 70-300mm VR DX lens. My settings were 300mm F11 1/40 sec and ISO 1000. To tell you the truth I was shooting aperture priority and forgot to open the lens up after taking some landscape shots. I think the shot worked though because the background was so hazy already that shooting at F11 allowed it to keep some shape. Hope you enjoy.
