If you don't love your camera, who will love your photography?
Canon 1Dmk4, Canon 1DSmk3, Canon 1Dmk3. Probably in that order.

I love my D7100 digital outfit, but film cameras are still my favorites.

For nostalgia, my first “real” camera, which was a Minolta srt 202. I got it in Germany in 1977 when stationed there. I had it for a whopping 9 months until it was stolen. Being only a lowly private, I couldn’t afford another new one and found a used srt 101 at a pawn shop. They both took amazing photos.
Today my favorite is my Nikon D750.
Been a Nikon shooter since the mid-70's. My old film favorites were the FE and FE2. I still have an FE2 with a 28, 50, and 75-150 sitting happily in retirement, but taken out and fired at least once a month. Went digital years ago with a D50. Still have it and use it, but upgraded to the D90 when it came out, and later to a D7xxx and a D3xxx. I know the D7xxx and 3xxx have more mpg's and other new (better ?) features, but I really like the D90. In fact bought a 2nd used one a few months ago. No valid reason or need---just wanted another body to play with. So--right now, the D90 is my favorite---- I like to use it. It takes all my lenses. I am used to the controls, image quality is fine, it is reliable, light weight, and suits my needs. There are no plans to buy any newer bodies at this time----
That a hard question to answer. I said two cameras, Retina IIIC (large C) and a Zeiss Contessa. I have own other German's cameras. There is a lot I like about those two cameras. Size, good lens, well made. This is no way a put down of Canon's cameras( had a few of them.) or Nikon's cameras (Have two of them: Nikkormat FT-2 & FT) and Pentax cameras( have two K-1000, had other models.)
This is like asking where was my favorite place to live...
My answer is always the same: Where I am now.
Why? Each place has its pluses and minuses.
Same goes with cameras.

I have and still own various cameras. I use different cameras for different things. But I have a favorite. One that is my go to carry it with me everyday. I like the results I get from it SOOC, I love the color, I like the way it works, and I like the way it feels and handles. And it has one hot pixel. Arrrrrgggggg. 😡 But it is still my favorite camera.
So this post is not about what camera is best or most expensive or mine is better than yours, or DSLR vs Mirrorless, or brand loyalty. It's about what camera is your favorite camera, and lens, and why.
Mine is my Olympus OM-D EM5 Mii + 14-45 Panasonic Lens.
What is yours?
I have and still own various cameras. I use differ... (

Your OMD5II is also one of my very fave
faves, but I have the 14-42 Zuiko rather
than the Lumix lens. But my go-to lens
is 14-150 Zuiko.
Did you update it to do in-camera focus
stacking ? I did that and it's amazing ...
but of limited application. It wasn't any
extra expense for me cuz, fortunately, I
already owned two of the [few] lenses
that can do focus stacking :-)
Have you run the pixel refresh function ?
I hope thaz the correct name for it, cuz I
also have [too] many cameras and every
brand uses a different name for functions.
FWIW my other big fave is a Lumix G9.
I'm using all three popular formats but
found that m4/3 cameras are definitely
my very mostest fave faves !

but, I am torn between that combo and my
Panasonic DMC-G9 and the Olympus 12-100 f4.0
lens. Great combos and stunning results!!
Great ! Another m4/3 user so overwhelmed
by all that is luvvable in m4/3 that choosing
one single fave is not possible :-)

The camera is invisible to the viewers of my work.
The camera function is separated in time from the
viewing function. OTOH, the listeners of my other
work are present in real time, and while they love
what they hear from my Warwick Thumb BN5, I
happen to hate playing it. Sounds great, but very
anti-ergonomic. Flipping back to cameras, I hate
using my Nikon 750 but it's prolly my best camera
in terms of maximum image quality. Go figger :-)
My all time favorite camera was my Pentax Spotmatic. I took a lot of photos with it until I sold it to another guy in Vietnam who wanted it so bad I couldn’t refuse his offer. My favorite now is my newly acquired Sony RX100 VII. I like it for its compactness, convenience and performance.

Part of me wants to say my Pentax 6x7 for which I have a number of lenses (all Takumar/Pentax and all prime) because it is such a beast and it's IQ is stunning. Part of me wants to say my Bronica ETRSi because of its ergonomics and my number of Zenza prime lenses for it, and it's got the 3:2 aspect and it's compact and still has MF qualities. But I have to go with my newest acquisition, a camera that I, as an original Nikon F user in the '70s, have longed for since it came out— arguably the best (or at least the most technologically advanced) 35mm SLR ever built, the Nikon F6. I came to it with a small army of newer Nikkor FX lenses and classic legacy glass (some autofocus and the rest at least AI). I've noticed a lot of Hoggs love the Nikon DF because it's a digital with the feel and look of a classic film SLR. The F6 is the corollary: a film camera with the look and feel of a DSLR. I use it aperture priority or full manual. It is as automated otherwise as my D7100. When I want a lighter weight SLR with most of the same lenses I go to my Nikon FE. Attached is an iPhone picture of the F6 and 2 recent Ektachromes taken with the F6. Processing and scanning by thedarkroom.com. Very minimal processing in Affinity Photo.

I should actually clarify my original post here. In all reality, every one of my cameras is my favorite. Each was acquired through special circumstances. Each has shared its adventures with me. I couldn't really slight any one of them due to those background facts.
