Beautifully photographed. Is the Schoodic side still relatively uncluttered with tourists compared to Mt Desert Island?

Yes, almost nobody there when we went and it was two lanes going one way so absolutely no congestion due to people stopping to have a peek.

Funny you should mention that. Was walking my puppy down at the James and there is promise of fall colors, but not much yet. Maybe a couple of weeks and I'll get some photos of that too. Did you use to live here?

I lived in Caroline County and we used to hike along the James.
