I have not enjoyed Grackles in the past with their noisy marauding of other birds, especially owls, but after getting some shots with a new lens I found their iridescent feathers quite striking. I’m not looking forward to their return to the Mosquito Lagoon but at least I can admire their beautiful feathers.
