Does it offer focus stacking?
No. I use either Helicon Soft or Photoshop after I've prepared the images in C1.

I tried both Helicon and Zerene and found Zerene to be slightly better.

Hey all! I’m considering purchasing this software for my Sony cameras (around a 100 bucks.) I currently use Lightroom 6 and am looking for comparisons. I know Gene uses this software for his Sony’s. Anyone else? I’m only interested in the Sony version. Thanks
Start out with the Express version. If you like it, upgrade to the Pro version.
I'm currently running the Pro version. It is definitely different than Lightroom BUT a bit of experimentation will get you up to speed in a few days.
Even after running Capture One Pro for several months I'm still not sure it is replacement for Lightroom. It is probably complementary as opposed to a total replacement; each has their pros / cons.
