Just got in from a day long crash course from Scott Kelby called "The Ultimate Photography Crash Course with Scott Kelby." Usually on one of the day long deals my butt gets numb and I get bored, but not this one. It was crammed full of information that's making me look a lot differently at Lightroom and Photoshop on the cloud. Seeing someone go through a bunch of processes is much easier to follow and retain than trying on my own. You know the old hard head thing. If you get a chance, give it a try. Great way to spend a day and learn something.

Did you attend a live event or online course.

It was a live event in Arlington Texas. Looked to be around 600 people there. Great workbook given at the end with "everything" discussed during the day. Cost was $89 and worth every penny for me.

No link, it was in Arlington, Texas. Google Scott Kelby and you will find a wealth of information.
I took the one in Boston and agree with the OP. These are held across the country. If you go to his website, you’ll find a list.

Thanks for the reply. I live in SE Grand Prairie, your next door neighbor. Yea if I knew about it I would have attended too. I got tied up setting up this Nikon D500 I rented to use at the airshow this week-end. I have looked his website over once and now I will be watching for the next event. Thanks for posting this.

He does these courses all over the place at different times: you and 600 others stuffed into a room. The booklet is good enough, just get a copy from a friend.
I recently bought a book by Scott Kelby on a discard pile at the local library...donated $5. IMHO, it is one of the best photography books on the market.
The Digital Photography Book Part 1 Second Edition 2013 From the back cover: "This isn't a book of theory-full of confusing jargon and detailed concepts. This is a book on which button to push, which setting to use, and when to use it.... Each page covers a single concept that makes your photography better."

Is my calculator wrong or diid he take in (gross) $53,400 for one day?

Sounds about right. I used to help out at Motocross school which was $300 for 2 days. Had about 60 participants or $18,000 in 2 days...

Nine thousand a day is a lot less than fifty thousand a day. I guess if you can do it!!!
I wonder if the OP meant sixty and not six hundred.
