Good shots of that cool Jeep. Nice restoration job on the plastic water bottle.

Don't remember his name, but didn't he call the Jeep Nellie Bell?

Roy's sidekick was Pat Brady, and Nellie Belle was a CJ2A jeep not a Jeepster.

I took my cue off the post before me. I kind of thought it was a Jeep, but wasn't sure. I used to watch that show all the time when I was little. All I could remember was Nellie Bell. Couldn't remember the actor's name nor the name of the goofy character he played.

One of the things I like about this forum is everybody throwing out pieces of rememberies.

So cool 😎
My dad had a 48 and in the mid 50’s I would ride in the back as he drove his paper route while I tossed the Atlanta Constitution paper on dewy lawns .. thanks for the memories... oh.. btw, ours didn’t look quite this nice 😁

I always loved those Jeepsters - this '69 Comando and travel trailer were my retirement present to my self back in '95 - Oh my first car at 16 was a '48 Willys 4X4 wagon
