I love OBAN, the streets, the mausoleum up on the hill, the Pipe and drum 'wars' in the summer, and next up the Ferries over to the Islands.

We were only there for three days (stayed at the Columba Hotel - a rather shabby but still very nice place) and didn't get to see as much as we could have although we did the Staffa Three Island tour and visited the distillery. I'd love to go back for a longer stay someday!

This proves the rule, by exception. Color isn't always a distraction. The Red building on the right anchors the "eye travel" circuit across the frame. A nice sense of place and capturing another of us in the act!
