Except for minor or fun edits of snaps on my Galaxy 6 cellphone snaps I don't really use my phone for post processing. BUT it's my go-to for browsing, including UHH. Obviously not the best choice for photo viewing but it's convenient and I can still appreciate the good work shown here.
So yesterday I had a moment and checked a post while on my desktop and was wowed at the difference. Made me wonder if there was some way to calibrate a cellphone screen?
I did find alternate display options, AMOLED photo or video, basic, and custom and changed to the photo option. I don't think my ColorMunki will fit on the screen.
Anything else I can try?
My Galaxy 9+ has the following options:
Adaptive Display
AMOLED cinema
AMOLED photo
Basic
Under the "adaptive display" there is an advanced option for Warm to Cool plus RGB channels. How to get those dialed in, that's for someone with more experience than I. I am still so new to all this photography stuff I haven't color corrected my PC monitor yet. I'm still learning the basics.

My Gal 6 has Adaptive Display choice, but it is auto, no way to change the color channel.
If there was ever a first world problem this is one.

X-rite has a free program, ColorTRUE, that will allow you to calibrate a cell phone screen. It only works with ColorMunki Display and i1Display Pro. It won't work with ColorMunki Photo or other calibrators.
