Bees swarmed one of my hummingbird feeders, so it is time to change the flowers. I purchased new flowers that advertise themselves to be bee preventive. Under constant assault I changed one and here are the results. After changing all the flowers, no bees......for now. no bees were harmed in making this post.
As an after thought, all were taken today using my 5dsr with 100-400 II . If I had foreseen the need I would have changed to my macro setup, kind of wish I had. The lens focus to 3' more than close enough I thought. I wanted low iso and a greater depth of field so I was using f10 to f16, hand held with a shutter speed around 125. probably not the best setup. I did limit noise in the pic's but I did not achieve the DoF I was looking for.
