I went to a place called Araluen about 30km from Perth and the tulips they had planted were just coming into flower.

Loving this camera, especially as I dont have to change lenses. I have a Nikon D5100 as well, but bought this camera because of the zoom. I didn't want to spend on another lense so bought the Panasonic for the times I didn't want to carry around a backpack of camera gear. I had a point and shoot panasonic lumix years ago and always loved the great pictures it took so decided to stick with it after reading all the reviews on bridge camera's.

Totally awesome! My fave is the first--you can feel the energy in the bee! Keep shooting! BTW, one of my first point and shoots was a Panasonic Lumix--kicked some serious butt at the family reunion I attended and rivaled some of the shots my cousin's slr Nikon took! I repeat: keep shooting! You have a great eye!

Great shots, Tracey, and the bee is a wonderful capture. As one Lumix fan to another, brilliant job!

G'day,, Tracey. Very nice results for your first go with the Lumix. It did a great job of getting the detail right on the white flower. High key is hard to capture and still show the texture on the petals.

Very nice! You even caught the details on the white, I think that is hard to get on pure white sometimes.
