I took a trip this week purposely to do braceketed shot (-2, 0, +2) of some of the lighthouses in Maine. My sensor is very dirty and it shows, sorry, but I wanted the practice. So far I have just put these through Photmatix, no other PP, all were handheld. Am I getting the bracketed part down?

After downloading them and playing with them I would say you got the bracketing down okay. Of course there is a lot of PP needed. Adjust contrast to make the colors pop, and you need to decrease the noise level. Of course clone out the dust on your sensor.
I would be interested to know how much these are cropped down, it apears they are a little soft, are they done hand held, or on a tripod? Don't worry, I do hand-held a lot, but tripod is much better. Keep working on it as I do like the subjects, you just need to take them to the next level.

I think they are very good pictures. You captured the realistic look very well and yes you have the bracketing down.

Thanks! I did not crop them at all but because it was windy and I did not use my tripod, I clicked on the button on Photomatix that adjusts for movement and that softens them a bit. I've had grandchildren around this weekend so other than combinign them in Photmatix, I have done no PP or cropping.
