About a month ago while working in the yard I came across what I initially thought was large earthworms. Apparently it's actually a snake. Today I was blowing leaves off the side my drive which goes through a wooded section. As the leaves blew away I encountered hundreds (not an exaggeration) of the things underneath the leaves. New to me. I've not seen them around here in RI before.

I have seen little green snakes in Connecticut in the past.

I have been informed by a fellow Hogger that it really is an earthworm. Good news for me.
