its been a year already that i've been browsing this site through email subscription and learning a lot from it. I went online to learn about photography as I want to develop a new hobby of taking pictures and learning the beauty of photography. I am a silent guy who most learn from reading and watching videos. Hoping to learn more from all of you members here regarding photography and thank you all in advance. Have a nice day!

You came to the right place to learn and enjoy photography Dan.
Welcome. Learning is fun in digital photography. You never run out of film.
Danny, welcome to the forum. You will find many talented photographers here who are always willing to help you develop the skills you need to make a better photographer.
If you have bought a camera make sure you read the instructions and use the kit lenses. That simple step will tell you what lens to buy in the future. Take notes so that you can refer to them often. Practice. Understand basics of photography and learn about metering the subject and the different types of exposure meters your camera has and how to use them. Composition is not difficult but will take some time.
Very soon you will be very proud of your work. Show your images here asking for advise and ask any questions you need answered.
Good luck to you.
Welcome, I think you will like it here!

Thank you. I have bought after I finished with the online photography. A Nikon D3400 kit and after a while a refurbished Nikon D7200 and now I have a Nikon D750 with a 24mm -120mm F4 VR lens. I've been taking pictures for awhile but it doesn't show a good composition and couldn't get that good images. I hope through this site I can accomplish it.
