Yes, but I didn't make the door, just used what was there.

I understand working with what you have - I shot about 400 weddings - but could have moved in closer, just top half of torso, had her facing right to get facial outline too, etc. Was just trying to be helpful.

And, I realize this may be directly out of camera but my eye was first drawn to light left side of head (hinge?), then rest of door crack, handle, etc. Making all that black in PP might help, my opinion only.

I think Thurber leaves the Photoshop work to the publisher. He just shoots the covers.

Haha! I almost DID darken those areas but decided to leave them as-is. I probably should have just converted to B&W and darkened them totally.
