BANCROFT is a wonder dog. You may remember I posted a picture of him with a sunflower on his head and some of you asked me to post more of this beautiful Golden Retriever. It's with pleasure I show you more of this amazing dog who visits me once a week. He was trained by his owner, Della, since he was a pup and he obeys her every command. I fell in love with BANCROFT on his first visit. These images were shot at various times and places. The last picture is of me and my awesome therapy dog. I hope you enjoy them.

Wonderful set and a great dog . I missed your earlier shots of him but this collection tells his story well.
Thank you for thinking of others who are stuck indoors and infirmed. They need our company and compassion because we all wind up old & helpless sooner or later.

Am guessing the goal of the therapy is to not be alone 24/7, having a loving friend who always will accept you as you are come and spend some time and the happy anticipation of such regular visits. Dogs can be so warm and friendly (as opposed to cats who tend to be aloof and go their own way). Petting a dog regularly and often brings such great pleasure. /Ralph
