This harvest is in St-Louis-de-Blandford, Québec, Canada. The second or thrd largest Producer afater Wisconsin and maybe Massachusetts

Always interested in seeing farm machinery and farming methods, especially ones that I am not familiar with.
In Michigan recently I ran across a new model of a blueberry picker, which I will be posting soon.

Nice captures ... used to enjoy watching them harvest cranberries down near Carver, MA. Thanks for sharing.

Loved the story. There are some bogs here (WV) at high elevation that have cranberries bot they are not big. It is amazing how big some of the equipment is and the processes used. Thanks for sharing.

That's interesting and I always wondered how they harvested all those berries from those bogs and I am told that they flood them first but I don't know what they use to remove the berry from it's vine or branch.

They have a machine similar to a snow blower with a small wooden paddle wheel on the front. They go back and forth over the flooded bog as the wheel knocks the berries off the vine. The loose berries then float to the top where they are gathered.
