Painted Lady and Admiral Butterflies and a few others

I had seen very few butterflies this summer and none that would pose for me. But a few weeks ago I did have some good luck. The first two shots are of a Loquin's Admiral Butterfly, the next three are a Painted Lady, the last butterfly is a simple Cabbage White but I like how the shot turned out. I've thrown in a couple shots of a Metallic Green Sweat Bee, the second one I've seen this year. All shots taken with a Nikon D500 with a Sigma 180MM macro lens. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

Fabulous shots! Great depth of field. I'm not too far from "Butterfly World" in Broward County, Fl. and hope to go there soon for a session.

An excellent set. Love the painted lady butterfly -- have never seen one before. Great color and love the depth of field. Mahalo for sharing.
