Lightroom Question: Starting today when I opened Lightroom in the library and develop module the file name, date taken, and size of the picture is showing in the upper right hand...

Starting today when I opened Lightroom in the library and develop module the file name, date taken, and size of the picture is showing in the upper right hand corner of the picture. I can't find how it happened or how to remove it. It's very distracting. Does anyone know how to remove it?

You pressed the letter "i" (information) press "i" again for a 3 way toggle of different information.

Did you try pressing the letter "i" . It cycles through information.

Thanks for the info. This might be VERY basic knowledge to some. I use very few keyboard shortcuts. I am menu driven.

LR is intended to let you use the software however is best for you. But still, when you randomly and mistakenly press one the short-cuts, you'll get that action whether you intended it or not. You don't have to know all the short cuts, but you might ask every so often: how could I do this faster or with less mouse-keying?

I mainly use Lightroom for cataloging and basic edits. I'm much more familiar with Photoshop.

Pressing ctrl plus / will pop up all the shortcuts for that module, sometimes it helps to figure out what went wrong. Any click gets you out of that help screen.

So so no one has to diminish you so they can feel good about themselves. Search and print out the short cuts for Adobe Lightroom.

Keyboard shortcuts are hardly basic knowledge. They are considered advanced knowledge thus the need for a cheat sheet! Basic knowledge is what can be easily figured out from what is seen on the screen.

All or mostly all of the shortcuts are available via the menus and toolbars, the shortcuts are just there to be, um.....you know.
