Oct 3 D800 and Tamron 150 - 600
Do you like any one in particular? Why? How would you improve it? exposure composition sharpness color etc
I have rarely captured an interesting image of a flock of birds, so I would also like to hear suggestions. There is nothing that centers the picture, other than the fact that white pelicans are rare in most if the country.
From a composition standpoint, I would play with #2 in which the bills of the nearest birds are all pointing in the same direction, with one exception. I would try different crops that include the nearest pelicans including the one pointing to the right. But it would take some skill to make it a really interesting picture.
Looking forward to other opinions.
Thank you for the suggestions
You're right. It is impossible to pose these guys so its maybe just a good chance for me to think about composition and cropping. And hopefully improve my skills
2, 4, 1 are my faves in order starting from 2 to the left. The others could be sent to the 'hell' box because the other are far better. I would not destroy the others because they MAY have another use elsewhere.
Remember, the Sonny Bono Wildlife Reserve on the southeast corner of the Salton Sea, Calipatria in So Cal. And don't forget to hold time for Salvation Mountain nearby.
This is a haven for birds from Oct - Memorial Day. Also, add Anza Borrego while forgetting Mexico because of trafficking. BUT BE SURE TO SEE THE BORDER WALL!!!
thanks for taking the time
I think maybe a trip to these reserves is in order.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE WALL!!! ARGHHHHHHH
Actually can't wait to see "someone special" put behind a wall (with iron bars) for a long long time.
