Easy way to transfer photos from iPad to MacBook Pro ? For Adobe Lightroom ?
Adobe Lightroom is now the name for the CC version so I assume that is what you are asking about.
Simply install the Lightroom program on your MacBookPro and photos will sync from your mobile devices to the MacBookPro. You can see all your photos on all your devices. That is the beauty of the CC version.

In the Applications folder there is a free program called
Image Capture. Plug you iPad into your computer with a lightning cable and the rest is easy to figure out. Using this program will not change the format into jpg as do many others.

It depends. If you use Adobe Lightroom CC then as someone else said, they will all be in the cloud. But first we must determine which Adobe Lightroom you are talking about. There is Lightroom CC and there is Lightroom Classic CC. Which one do you have? If you use the first one, all images will be cloud based. If you have the second one, then only the images that you have put in the cloud will be there and can be viewed on both devices. If you have the Classic version, this is difficult to explain.
As someone else pointed out, you can use Airdrop from your iPad to transfer photos easily to your MacBook Pro. It's all part of the iOS in all Macs (if your Macs are of the same era)
Time out.

iOS does not run Macs.
