I like to composite shots taken at group events - it gives me a different image to that which the rest of the group have. In a way it may be missing the point as most of the events are staged in interesting surrounds, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying. Anyway, here is Daria (an experienced Polish model, very easy to work with) inside the Hoffmann Kiln in Yorkshire. The kiln is rather spooky when you first enter as the eyes don't pick-up the light that the camera has seen in abundance. In fact I needed a torch to walk around safely and fortunately I'd been made aware in advance. The kiln is a huge oval tunnel and I include a snap of the info board for those interested. Its a simple composite. Please feel free to critique, I do appreciate it whether its good or bad news! I have no idea why there is no thumbnail, please download to view.
I found this to beery interesting. The model is very lovely and the detail is wonderful. Nice job!
Is that a human skull in the lower left area of the photograph?

Hmmm.....could be, couldn't it? Thanks for your comment.
This is so cool. Great job, love it.
Looks like a skull to me. As I was blowing it up to check out the skull I noticed the man with the machine gun in the back. π
Once again a great composite.π
Extremely rich and well done technically. I enjoy the many levels of revelation. I loved the splitting of the tunnel at the end for some reason. However, your intricate detailing led me to discover something as I was looking very closely for more π. The shadow of one shoe falling across the other is brown on the ground--helluva bounced light!
I enjoy the deep complexity of your work. Oh, almost forgot, the cast shadow of the woman melding with the shadow from the structure...joy.

The far end does look a little confusing Bob. In reality it simply curves round to the other side of the annular shape. The dark square block, just by the gunman, is a stone support for an information board - positioned such that it stops you galloping too quickly into the darkness.
Good to have someone keeping me on my toes - only you and Frank would notice that shadow colour, and Frank seldom joins the comments nowadays.
Many thanks for the thoughtful critique.
Wow...I believe a half-way decent writer could could write a book from that one photo for inspiration. Fantastic!
