Bad Day in the Goal

After a long spell of temperatures in the mid 90's and humidity about the same as the temperature it was finally down in the low 80's with intermittent cloud cover making for a pleasant day on the pitch.

The #5 and #6 teams of the six team Division 2 adult league battled to avoid relegation to Division 3A.

This was one of those days when not much went well for this goalie, he really got pounded.

The final was 6-2.

Very nice job Paloviejo. These are wonderful shots, cropped well and the comp is right on. Keep it up and please post more. Thanks

Great shots of a goal keeper doing his job very well...but I am very surprised to see a soccer player wearing glasses/sunglasses during a match.

I've watched him for several years and he always wears sunglasses even in poor light. My guess is that they serve as eye protection.
