You have no idea how many times I think and feel the same way looking at other's work. Your compliment is very appreciated!

Fabulous light. The same happened to me once on the Oregon coast back in the days of film. Forever etched in my mind. I wish a sneaker wave would have wiped out whoever did the graffiti on the lighthouse!

LOL.. I agree on that graffiti, I wish the city would repaint, or cover that up anyway. It was amazing light.

I arrived at the beach and the sun was shining with some clouds, the sand was blowing and I decided I didn't want to get sand blasted so I left there after a couple of careful photos. I went around the bay and slowly made my way back to the starting point. When I did return, over an hour later, amazing lighting conditions were happening and I had to go into the heart of the sand and take photos. Within two minutes of shooting, a sneaky wave came up and totally soaked my legs and shoes. I moved, and kept shooting because, well these photos show why.
I arrived at the beach and the sun was shining wit... (show quote)

Very Nice, Right time, Right place, yes you captured some great Lighting and Wave action.

Good tip to follow. I ditch the obvious bad ones right away, but I don't always review them all right away. Once I am confident I found the keepers, I delete all the RAW photos with no custom settings.

Smart!
