Cannot locate a hard copy anywhere it seems,...only a downloadable one from my many web searches.

Thanks,...will keep my eyes peeled for a hardbound copy.

I have 1 ( soft cover ) from Darrell Young purchased at B&N off the shelf. I doubt the have 1 in store anymore but probably can get it for you. If not try B&H.

Nikon's stock guides that accompany their cameras in my opinion lack in depth observation and suggestions.

Anyway,....Looks like the only way to get Thom Hogan's Guide to the Nikon D810 is via PDF download now,...at around $30.00

Am interested in reading Thom Hogan's views and comments as I get into the D810, many seem to prefer his comprehensiveness.

I've previously used and enjoyed David Busch's camera guide for the D800E,...still serves me well.

Absolutely right Thom Hogans is the best almost 1000 pages and usually has a download file to set up the camera like his ..I have his book on d300 ,d7100 , and now d810....
