Most of our topics are marsh/wetlands related but occasionally some songbirds pique our interest. We did actively pursue the Florida Scrub jay as they are an endangered species and are the only species of bird that are endemic to Florida and one of fifteen to the United States. My favorite of these is the meadowlark and the ranch land that we go to in the spring are alive with their melodic song.

Excellent shots, but that smooth narrative had to come from Sally!
