I outgrew the magnificient mini 50 and guidescope ready for a change . In this heat and humidity getting the balance is somewhat of a PITA . I reworked my cable management and the only thing that dangles is the cords to the dec that's held on with 2 screws and Gorilla tape. My guiding is getting there a couple more nights and I hope to have it , I ran 170subs of Luminance last night and 64 were worthy it was forecasted for partly to mostly cloudy {it's a thought} though I couldn't see them in my acquisition area . I guess why it spikes in the ra is a balance issue . I even balanced the load in the area that I was shooting. Scratch my head at least I'm not kicking and cursing at the darn equipment yet. Overall it was a success .

Wow! That is a big change, Ronnie.
A Picture is worth a thousand words. I would wonder if the AP camera out in front isn't making your rig "nose heavy".
But I have no doubt you will master it.
I guess you could call me Sonny the tail dragger the way mine is rear heavy.
But hey, they work!
Time to get my butt out back.
It's only a short 80mm fl / fast f5 weighing 2.25# but, the rings and dovetail added at least 2 more #'s. My next attempt I've got to start moving the tube or the dovetail forward in the saddle , I've got it east and tail heavy to keep the gears meshed together . I've also got to check my dec casing to make sure the shaft isn't loose again , it's a lot to check when ever I add or take away. I'm just chugging along but, the amount of stars I can guide on is a lot more than the 50mm. Thanks Sonny
