I find a lot of beauty and interest in things that are otherwise "of no value". Things that are broken, rusted, abandoned. The challenge this week is to make objects that others might overlook as useless into great photographs. These can include old buildings, vehicles, dead trees....I know you will be up to the challenge! Looking forward to some great shots.

Good set. Nice challenge.

Here's a few to get started with from the most artistically displayed roadside farmers stand I've ever seen....

This should be a great challenge because so many of us absolutely LOVE rusty, abandoned things! Here are some from me for today.

Really sad one here, not only was the farm abandoned but the owner also and died alone in his 90's. I used to see him outside in the summer. The place was then taken over by a distant relative and all was taken down. Notice the house. The porch is in the back instead of in the front as back then the roads were not paved and dust would blow around, so many many farm houses are set up as such except for the big guys whose houses are set up a quarter mile off of the roads

That is very sad that they cared no more than that for him........but I believe in karma. Not that it will help him in the end, but they will also be old one day.

Abandoned things have so much history, it is a shame that they cannot talk but maybe in some cases maybe they should not
