Hi everyone. Obviously I am new here, and hope to gain some insight. I've been getting serious about photography, and now seemed to be hooked after about 6 months with a Kodak Z1485 IS, and now have a Canon T2i with a couple of different lenses. I plan on moving up to a 7D or 5D Mark II with some pro "L" series lens in the near future after I get more experience with my T2i.
Photo taken on 11-10-2010 in Detroit on what I though was a great time for a B & W photo of these tracks.
Photo taken 7-7-2011 in Detroit in an area rift with blight, abandoned houses, yet I thought this looked beautiful amid all the chaos.
Photo taken on 8-1-2011 in the backyard on a butterfly bush.
Very nice photos. I too use a Canon T2i but don't really plan on changeing for some time as I'm still feeling mostly overwhelmed with what I have now. I'll trade you a train and a butterfly and I'll be getting the better of the deal.
Thanks. Those are a couple of great photos as well. I like my T2i also.
I like the train tracks in the fog to bad a train wasn't coming with it's headlight dimly hidden by the fog. But very nice photograph.
Hello from mesnsville GA Robert here

Thanks. I love fall colors in Michigan as well, but not partial to winters either. Been to Florida a couple of times many years ago. Nice pics, and I like the engine shot especially since I grew up in the muscle car era and owned a couple of monsters back then. Peace...

Thanks. I appreciate that very much. I love night shots, especially when it is wet out. The light reflections can be stunning.
