Wow absolutly stunning!
Excellent work on camera and in post.
And yes I am also a happy and satified LR, PS CC subcriber.
Hatted buying those expensive programs then going years w/o updates.
Now the latest and best always at hand.
I need to try a field of verticals. I do 3-4 horz and memory becomes an issue.
Any idea the size of your final RAW cropped image?
Probly a bazillion meg.
Beautiful, Thanks
The post-cropped (7897 x 4118 pixels) DNG compilation isn't particularly large; its 186.1Mb. Pre-cropped (8119 x 4540 px) version probably ran around 200Mb. Size-wise, any reasonable computer should be able to handle a file of this size without problem. (My 'image' computer is relatively beefy, and I've done panos that exceed 2Gb. DNG production of images that large take a minute or two more of computer time, but they get done without problem.)
When shooting these things (which I do a lot), I generally over-shoot left/right (or up/down if doing a vertical pano) slightly to make sure the composition I want will fully 'be there.'
